When spring begins to bloom and the sun comes out, we all get eager to plant, or maybe some of us don't..... Planting your garden beds can take time that some of us may not have. Here are some of my tips to getting out of the house and planting your beds to make your house colorful.
Look at your neighbors yard for motivation (hahaha)
Grab a couple friends and come out to C&H. Bringing some people to the greenhouse with you might make this experience fun and not stressful
Plant your beds in the morning or evening. This will help you avoid the hot summer heat in the middle of the day.
Get fun new plants at C&H. Getting a new plant might make this experience fun because of the anticipation of what the plant will potentially look like.
Do your bed prep on that crazy warm day in February or March so when you purchase your plants, they are ready to go in the soil
Plant your space in sections. Don't overwhelm yourself and buy everything at once. Buying your plants in sections will help you stay organized and not wasting your money by overbuying plants.
Below is a video of me planting starts for the upcoming season. Don't we all wish planting our garden beds would go by this fast.
